Cornerstone Building Brands in Fontana, CA is seeking a maintenance mechanic to install, repair and service electrical equipment across our industrial facilities. You will read blueprints, follow safety practices and work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems to maintain production lines.

The role offers overtime potential, shifts 8/10/12 hours depending on orders, and a US pay range of $25.00–$35.00 per hour plus benefits starting day 1, 401k and PTO.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in maintenance mechanic role or similar.
• Preferred: Electrical Controls Technician experience in industrial setting.
• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making and problem-analysis skills, even under pressure.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and OSHA standards.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safety rules for hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Install and repair electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, and motors.
• Use welding equipment for lay out and fitting.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to meet load requirements.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Notify of major repairs or equipment additions to lighting, HVAC systems.
• Provide on-the-job guidance to maintenance staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the work area.
