Job summary

Cindavi in Fontana, CA is seeking a General Maintenance Technician 3 to own electrical and mechanical maintenance on our on-site manufacturing line. You'll troubleshoot equipment, read schematics, and drive projects from instructions through completion.

This full-time, onsite role offers opportunities to lead shifts when needed, perform preventive maintenance, install and test panels and VFDs, and work with pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and facility systems. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational maintenance training preferred.
• Minimum five years in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting for single/three-phase power (24V, 120V, 480V).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conduit, wiring, panels, and production machinery.
• Welding experience including oxy-fuel and arc welding.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems across production equipment, support equipment, and facilities.
• Read schematics, blueprints, manuals, and engineering specs to diagnose problems and complete installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, identify hazards, and adjust or repair as needed.
• Install and test conduit, wiring, panels, VFDs, and other components following applicable codes and safety rules.
• Repair, replace, weld, and fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and shop equipment.
• Serve as a dependable senior technician and provide backup shift leadership when needed.

Position Overview

We are hiring a General Maintenance Technician 3 to join our onsite manufacturing team in Fontana, California. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who knows how to troubleshoot equipment, read electrical schematics, and carry a project from instructions through completion.

You will work across electrical and mechanical systems, including production equipment, PLC-connected systems, VFDs, pumps, saws, pneumatics, hydraulics, and facility infrastructure. You will also support installations, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects involving conduit, wiring, panels, and fabricated components. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems across production equipment, support equipment, and facilities.
• Read electrical schematics, structural drawings, blueprints, equipment manuals, and engineering specifications to diagnose problems and complete installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspect operating equipment, identify hazards or performance issues, and make the necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Install and test conduit, wiring, panels, VFDs, and other industrial components while following applicable codes and safety requirements.
• Repair, replace, weld, and fabricate components using appropriate hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and shop equipment.
• Serve as a dependable senior technician and provide backup shift leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED, with vocational or specialized mechanical maintenance training preferred.
• At least five years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills involving single-phase and three-phase power systems, including experience working with 24V, 120V, and 480V systems.
• The ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience installing and maintaining pneumatics, hydraulics, conduit, wiring, panels, and production machinery.
• Welding experience, ideally including oxy-acetylene torch cutting and electric arc welding.
