Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for repair and preventative maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities across our sites in California. The role emphasizes safety, detail, and ability to work autonomously.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of hands-on electrical/mechanical repair, experience with hydraulics, CNC systems, and forklift operation. Strong diagnostic and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on repair of electrical and mechanical systems on machinery.
• Experience with hydraulic systems – repair and maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical machine alignment checks and adjustments.
• Education / training in electronics and electrical systems desirable.
• Forklift license.
• CNC machine repair experience, gantry mill repair experience a plus.

• Repair / replace defective equipment using hand tools, power tools, and assemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance ensuring machines continue to run smoothly, operate efficiently, and the physical condition does not deteriorate.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems; determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
• Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Train, and where needed lead others in department to ensure departmental objectives are met.
• And other duties as assigned.
