Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Industrial Machinery Mechanic at our Hingham, MA facility to maintain and repair production equipment, perform installations, and execute PMs.

You will troubleshoot issues, work with high- and low-voltage systems, and ensure safe, efficient operations while coordinating with maintenance teams. This role may require overtime and strong documentation skills; a trade background and CMMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on special projects during off shifts.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of the electrical code.
• Trade training in electrical, mechanical or machine maintenance.
• Familiar with PMs and CMMS.
• Able to operate electric and hand tools; climb ladders.
• Written documentation is required.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, repair, and maintenance of production equipment; perform installations and PMs.
• Troubleshoot normal operations and emergencies.
• Work with high- and low-voltage systems and related equipment.
• Check malfunctioning equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor CNC, punching, bending machines, crane, motors, pumps, valves, and related systems.
• Ensure efficient work with minimal disruption.
• Prioritize PMs and work orders for the site.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and address EHS issues.
• Ensure inventory of tools and supplies.
• Support production for urgent machine needs.
