Job summary

Continental is seeking a maintenance technician in Illinois to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and drive systems. This role includes hydraulic bleeding, lubricant handling, and sheet metal work for guards and ducts, with safety procedures mandatory.

Applicants should have an Associate's degree or equivalent mechanical experience, legal work authorization in the U.S., and a background in maintenance within manufacturing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, steam, hydraulic and pneumatic power transmission and drive systems.
• Inspect, remove/replace lubricants, bleed hydraulic fluids, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair piping, valves, traps, and ductwork; follow safety and PPE rules.
• Read and interpret hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical schematics and use gauges to diagnose issues.
