Qualifications

• Lift 50 lbs and work on ladders/lifts.
• 0–3 years in manufacturing with hands‑on repairs.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication."
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, testing devices; welding and sheet‑metal repairs."
• Good communication, analytical skills, and ability to multi‑task."
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine when a licensed specialist is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety standards are maintained while performing duties.
• Perform minor to moderate repairs on facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot wiring, repair leaky pipes, and service HVAC systems (filters, etc).
• Conduct scheduled inspections of safety systems and mechanical equipment.
• Submit reports on work activities to supervisor and track progress.
• Identify root causes and suggest preventive actions.
• Interface with CMMS to retrieve work orders and manage inventory.
• Assist with cleaning, maintenance of dust collection equipment, and general groundskeeping.
• Participate in 5S/TPM improvements.
• Handle interior painting, drywall patching, and basic groundskeeping or snow removal.
