Job summary
ResourceMFG in Wixom, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift position (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM). The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have industrial maintenance experience, be able to read manuals and schematics, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and reliability. Safety, documentation, and teamwork are essential to success.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and production equipment preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Support production teams by minimizing equipment downtime
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
