Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our new melt facility at the Bakers Campus in Monroe, NC. You will join a highly skilled team responsible for keeping equipment operational to meet production goals and customer needs, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining plant machinery.

Qualifications

• General HS Diploma / GED
• At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints proficiently

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical equipment in the plant
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine malfunctions
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to determine required changes
• Understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems
• Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow safety guidelines
• Maintain lift truck operator’s license and use material handling equipment
