Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to properly maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and production equipment for safe operation.

The role requires interpreting hydraulic/electrical schematics, wiring in high voltage areas, and performing preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate has an associates degree in electronics/industrial maintenance or 5+ years of related experience, with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC operation knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend required.
• Associates Degree in Electronics/Industrial Maintenance or 5 years Industrial Electrical/Electronic experience preferred.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics desired.
• Knowledge of PLCs and motor controls desired.
• Electrical knowledge in industrial environments, including 480 volt 3 phase and multi-meter usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility and production equipment to ensure proper and safe use.
• Troubleshoot advanced critical equipment upon failure.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic wiring in high voltage areas.
• Interpret diagrams, operation manuals, and pneumatic systems.
• Operate milling machines, drill presses, and lathes as required.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and quality policies.
