Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician C in Gallaway, TN to help ensure maximum operation and productive life of plant facilities and equipment. The role requires hands-on maintenance on injection and blow molding machines, plus hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems knowledge.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, plus two years of college and several years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, plus two years of college; five to ten years of experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
Experience repairing, adjusting, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on injection and blow molding machines.
Ability to read schematics and use hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Check and add hydraulic oil and lubricants as needed.
Assist Level II and III technicians with repairs and upkeep on machinery.
Assist with fabrication, design, machining, welding and wiring of facilities or support equipment.
Support compliance with EPA, MSDS, Lock/Out Tag/Out and safety standards.
Maintain housekeeping and preventative maintenance standards.
Responsible for sanitation of designated areas (Chiller Room, Air Compressor Room, etc.).
Develop ability to read blueprints and schematics; complete approved courses within 12 months.
Handle special projects as assigned.
