Job summary

Feed Energy Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to plan and execute maintenance activities across boilers, piping, electrical, and mechanical systems. You will document routines, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety initiatives while ensuring continuous plant operations.

The role requires hands-on skills in welding, pipefitting, and electrical work, plus experience with process controls. On-site calls and a strong commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in plant maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate forklift/skid loader; driver’s license required.
• Basic electrical knowledge (110V, 240V, 480V).
• Pipe fitting, fabrication and threading, welding, air and electrical pump experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Automation and process controls experience preferred; in-house training offered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Document daily maintenance activities, monthly checklists, tank inspections, weekly housekeeping logs.
• Maintain, test, and perform preventative maintenance on boilers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, piping, and pump systems to keep plant running smoothly.
• Plan future preventative maintenance, capital projects, and budgets.
• Manage parts inventory and order supplies; assist with safety and housekeeping duties.
• Prepare service reports and support billing; participate in safety committees.
