Job summary

Randstad USA in McDonough, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM). You will maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam boiler systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance as part of a team.

We offer annual pay ranges based on experience, with shift differential and comprehensive benefits. A High School diploma is required, and prior PLC experience is a plus.

3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Starting Sunday night through Thursday night, into following morning)

Position Summary: Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery, electrical and electronic parts / systems, PLC’s, motors, pumps, controls, pneumatic parts / systems, hydraulic parts / systems, mechanical parts / systems, and other components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, to diagnose malfunction.
• (RCA) Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
• Diagnoses & repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
• Able to read and study blueprints, drawings, sketches, etc., to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, system requirements, and repair / setup needs.
• Must be able to verify conformance of finished work to specifications.
• Plans layout and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Identifies and replaces malfunctioning PLC's. Assist in all equipment installations & major modifications.
• Comply with all safe work procedures required in any situation, and ask when not certain which procedure to follow.
• Able to work 8-hour shifts, on day or night shift and work mandatory overtime.

salary: $56,160 - $76,960 per year

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: McDonough, GA

Shift: 11pm-7:30am (may be coming in Sunday night to turn boilers on): $1.35/hr.

Pay: Based on experience ($35 – $37/hour) + $1.35/hour shift differential
