Job summary

Randstad USA in Hebron, OH is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to own the maintenance lifecycle of complex production machinery. This is a high-impact, multi-craft role offering autonomy under the Plant Manager, with a focus on solving mechanical puzzles in a 5S environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, a multi-craft toolbox, and the ability to read blueprints, weld with MIG/TIG, and troubleshoot 480V circuits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Multi-craft Maintenance experience.
• Ability to read precision measurement tools for QA and setup.
• Welding fabrication experience and hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate tools and fasteners in narrow spaces to repair, install, and move equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S workplace and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Read blueprints/schematics and install electrical circuits.
• Calibrate equipment and communicate operational information clearly.
• Interpret complex blueprints; weld and cut with MIG, TIG, and torch.
• Work independently to complete tasks and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to manipulate tools and fasteners repetitively in narrow spaces and with sufficient force to repair, install, and remove equipment
• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workplace by following all 5S Standard
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, installing and/or moving equipment
• Must be able to read precision measurement tools for quality assurance and set-up
• Must be able to visually and audibly scan equipment and material for indication of improper or unsafe operation
• Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment
• Install electrical circuits following blueprints & schematic diagrams.
• Must be able to clearly communicate operational information regarding the equipment to co-workers and management in written form
• 2-5 years of Multi-craft Maintenance experience
• Mechanical and Electrical background
• Experienced in hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical components on production equipment
• Properly utilize measuring tools for troubleshooting and fabrication
• Welding fabrication experience
• Quality experience with instrument knowledge
• Ability to Interpret complex customer blueprints and distinguish various customer flaws
• Ability to operate and read various measuring devices
