Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring a Maintenance Technician for third shift in our manufacturing facility in North Carolina. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to keep operations running smoothly. This direct hire role offers competitive pay and full benefits.

Key responsibilities include mechanical and electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections. You will read blueprints and support 5S standards in the shop, while adhering to safety and LOTO

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently on third shift.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• Respond to machine breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Operate with a "Safety First" mindset
• Achieves allocated work priorities to meet time, thus minimizing production down time
• Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all equipment
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing equipment
• Removes any defective parts by dismantling the devices using the proper tools and inspecting the parts for wearing, replacing, or reinstalling new part and test equipment for proper operation
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques
• Fabricates repair parts by using maintenance shop instrumentation and equipment.

• Knowledge of CMMS in order to manage work orders.
• Ability to work in and around all weather conditions.
• Understanding of LOTOprocedures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently on third shift
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs a plus
