Join a growing manufacturing team as a Maintenance Technician on second shift! This direct hire position offers competitive pay and full benefits. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Respond to machine breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate with a "Safety First" mindset.
- Achieves allocated work priorities to meet time, thus minimizing production down time.
- Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all equipment.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing equipment.
- Removes any defective parts by dismantling the devices using the proper tools and inspecting the parts for wearing, replacing, or reinstalling new part and test equipment for proper operation.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
- Fabricates repair parts by using maintenance shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by check stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies and informing supervisor or equipment, parts and supplies needed.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
- Maintain 5s standards within the shop and parts area.
- Knowledge of CMMS in order to manage work orders.
- Ability to work in and around all weather conditions.
- Understanding of LOTOprocedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently on third shift
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs a plus
