Amrize in Wellford, SC seeks a Maintenance Technician A to support plant equipment through inspection, repair and preventive maintenance on industrial systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC-related issues, document work in CMMS, and uphold safety standards.

Education requires a high school diploma with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. A2+ years vocational training or an associate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Five+ years of industrial maintenance experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems: power transmission, lubrication, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with DC and AC circuits; PID and machine control.
• Experience with PLCs & networking; industrial automation.
• Familiarity with CMMS for work orders and parts tracking.

Responsabilités

• Perform periodic inspections and determine corrective actions.
• Disassemble and assemble machines for repairs while maintaining safety and production goals.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify root causes and parts replacement.
• Identify failed components and source replacement parts.
• Document work in CMMS and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain organized toolbox and shared maintenance tools.
