Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure plant equipment operates safely and efficiently on the 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics and pipefitting tasks, and assist in building new production equipment using blueprints and schematics.

The role requires experience in industrial maintenance, a technical two-year degree or equivalent, and the ability to work 3pm–1am Monday through Thursday with some Friday

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of demonstrated industrial maintenance experience or five years without degree.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent training in industrial maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of production, support and auxiliary equipment in an industrial facility.
• Basic understanding of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, millwright, blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant equipment operates properly and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical malfunctions.
• Build and install new production equipment per blueprints/schematics.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Provide support for continuous improvement programs (ISO, Lean, 5S).
• Work 2nd shift: 3pm-1am Mon-Thu with occasional OT Fridays.
