Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a second‑shift role. The position is full‑time and based on a 2:00 PM–12:30 AM schedule. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair a range of equipment to support production, packaging, and distribution operations.

Regular duties include preventative maintenance, calibrations, and accurate reporting. Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent, plus 2–5 years of related experience,

Qualifications

Associate degree or military/civilian equivalent in industrial maintenance is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
Good communication and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Uses knowledge to resolve complex operating problems in a timely manner on electrical, vacuum, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
Performs general and preventative maintenance on multiple production systems.
Performs mechanical calibrations and alignments during maintenance.
Tests and modifies operating machinery and control equipment as needed.
Completes daily maintenance reports accurately.
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment and follows safety procedures.
