Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for Sedalia, MO, 2nd shift. You will apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC and manual machines, and use CMMS for maintenance updates.

You will read schematics, perform precise alignments, and employ predictive tools such as oil analysis, vibration monitoring, and thermal imaging to prevent failures, reporting to the Director of Maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience.
• Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated expertise in industrial mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair.
• Experience using hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment (forklifts, utility vehicles).
• Basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background verification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on CNC machinery, manual machines, robotics, and machining centers.
• Repair facility equipment including air compressors, HVAC systems, cooling systems, and related equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Read and use machine manuals, schematics, and vendor resources to diagnose issues.
• Read electrical drawings and schematics at a basic level.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify machine alignments and perform alignments (conventional, laser, electronic).
• Identify and repair various industrial pump systems.
• Provide daily maintenance reports and status updates.
• Use CMMS to document and track maintenance activities.
• Complete preventive and planned maintenance procedures.
• Follow safe rigging and material handling practices.
• Respond quickly to downtime to minimize production interruptions.
