Job summary

Scalable Sourcing seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Sedalia, MO. You will leverage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair precision machinery, with CMMS and inventory systems for records.

You will perform preventive and planned maintenance using schematics and maintenance manuals, conducting precision alignments and using predictive tools to pre-empt failures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, hydraulic schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Demonstrated expertise in industrial mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair.
• Experience using hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and utility vehicles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
• Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and background verification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on CNC machinery, manual machines, robotics, and machining centers.
• Repair facility equipment including air compressors, HVAC and cooling systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Use manuals and vendor resources to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical drawings and schematics.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify and correct alignments.
• Perform machine alignments using conventional, laser, and electronic methods.
• Identify and repair various industrial pump systems.
• Provide daily maintenance reports and status updates.
• Use CMMS to document and track maintenance activities.
• Complete preventive and planned maintenance procedures.
• Follow safe rigging and material handling practices.
• Respond quickly to downtime to minimize production interruptions.
