Description
We’re a fast‑paced countertop fabrication facility looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and keeping production on track in a 24/5 operation. If you’re a hands‑on problem solver who can diagnose issues quickly and fix them the right way—not just the fast way—you’ll do well here.
Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Overtime may be required based on production needs
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fabrication equipment including saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, and dust collection systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and implement root‑cause fixes—not temporary patches
- Follow and enforce safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Track maintenance activity, parts usage, and equipment history
- Partner with production to prioritize repairs and improve equipment performance
Required
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or fabrication preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of electrical systems (motors, sensors, relays, basic VFDs, wiring)
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Reliable attendance and strong commitment to safety
Preferred
- Experience with CNC equipment or stone/countertop fabrication
- Welding and basic fabrication skills (MIG/TIG)
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with dust collection systems and compressed air systems
- Forklift or lift certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working around moving equipment, noise, and dust‑controlled environments
- Ability to safely perform work in an industrial setting

- 2+ years Previous experience in commercial or industrial maintenance is required
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Self‑Starter that can work on their own
- Open to working 2nd shift
- Training on 1st shift
- Driver’s License
