Job summary

Sigma is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment, systems, and production environment running smoothly and safely. You'll apply hands-on expertise daily, facing new challenges and opportunities to make a tangible impact.

You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and welding systems, perform preventive maintenance, and read blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with safety standards and production goals.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and welding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, solutions-focused attitude.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and welding systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, including control systems.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, lubricate, and replace machine parts.
• Weld and repair structures, machinery, tanks, valves, and sheet metal.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all maintenance work meets OSHA and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding repairs beyond scope.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, and use of hands in repetitive motions
• Frequent reaching above shoulder level
• Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, and varying noise levels
• Work environments ranging from 35° to 95°+ Fahrenheit

Work Environment

• Ability to work weekends, holidays.
• Temperature ranges vary depending on the department
