Job summary

Olin is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Oxford, MS (2nd or 3rd shift) to perform fabrication, maintenance, and repair of piping, pumps, valves, and related equipment. You will weld, install, and align equipment, and troubleshoot production machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have industrial maintenance experience and welding skills, with the ability to read schematics and work with hand and power tools. The role may require overtime and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Two years of industrial maintenance experience; Maintenance certification preferred.
Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication.
Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
Experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, repair, replace piping, pumps, valves, cylinders, flanges and hoses using hand, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools.
Weld, cut, and grind equipment in plant, including confined spaces.
Install, set, align and level new equipment.
Operate heavy equipment and industrial trucks; use precision equipment to measure.
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment in production areas.
General maintenance on all machines.
