Job summary

Mmsteam in Lexington, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift to keep production equipment running and respond quickly when breakdowns occur.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, log repairs in the CMMS, inspect drives, motors, transformers, and pneumatic systems, and collaborate with other technicians to minimize downtime while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of maintenance experience (industrial preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical + electrical).
• Experience with motors, controls, and production equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, etc.).
• Familiarity with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Install and repair wiring, motors, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, inspections, filter changes).
• Inspect drives, belts, motors, and fluid levels using checklists.
• Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts.
• Test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and repairs.
• Assist with inventory tracking for parts and supplies.
• Support equipment installs and system upgrades.
• Follow all safety standards (LOTO, OSHA, etc.).
