Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on experience repairing and rebuilding industrial equipment.
• Experience with machining, welding, and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, manuals.
• Certification for electrical work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair presses and other manufacturing equipment.
• Identify and resolve equipment performance issues with supervision.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine repairs.
• Rebuild machines and components as needed.
• Research and implement equipment modifications to increase reliability.
• Communicate with vendors regarding failures or parts.
• Determine whether repairs should be done in-house or outsourced.
• Maintain inventory of mechanical parts and identify suppliers.
• Operate lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, drill press.
• Assist with general facility maintenance and related tasks.
• Respond to equipment issues during shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
