The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and process issues, providing 24/7 support, leveraging JDE for parts, and upgrading lines as needed. You will inspect equipment, coordinate with contractors, weld when necessary, and maintain building grounds while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in industrial electrical repair.
• Experience with drives, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment, including drives and motors.
• External skills training related to the position may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and correct mechanical, electrical and process problems to ensure proper operation.
• Provide 24/7 technical support for production.
• Use JDE system to purchase and stock parts.
• Assemble, disassemble and upgrade production lines or support equipment as required.
• Regularly inspect production lines and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors to repair, install, remove, and/or upgrade equipment.
• Welds together metal parts and equipment as needed.
• Maintain building and grounds.
• Maintain a safe working environment; report unsafe conditions.
