Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time day shift at a manufacturing facility. The role involves keeping production equipment and the facility operating safely, with tasks spanning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of machine maintenance experience, strong electrical and HVAC knowledge, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience preferred, or three or more years of related experience in place of a diploma.
• Machine maintenance experience with pneumatic systems, industrial hydraulics, mechanical drives, bearings, seals, and lubrication.
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience, including power systems, ladder diagrams, motor controls, industrial sensors, PLCs 1 and 2, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic HVAC knowledge; welding experience and forklift certification.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment safely and promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and use observation, listening, measuring tools, and testing instruments to find issues.
• Inspect, dismantle, and replace worn or defective parts; fabricate repair parts and adjust equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and general building areas.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and parts, anticipate needs, place orders, and verify deliveries.
• Document maintenance work, equipment issues, and follow-up needs; prepare reports and communicate with coworkers.
• Keep work areas safe and clean and follow company and OSHA procedures.

The company manufactures custom coins, tokens, medallions, and specialty metal products for businesses, events, and organizations. Its production facility uses a range of presses and other manufacturing equipment.

Position overview.

The Maintenance Technician keeps production equipment and the facility operating safely and reliably. This hands-on role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, facility upkeep, parts coordination, and clear maintenance documentation. The work may shift between equipment and facility needs throughout the day.
