Job summary

Brick Staffing, LLC seeks an Industrial Mechanic Technician to assemble and maintain machinery in a continuous production environment in Timonium, MD. You will support reliability and performance of automated systems while upholding EHS and quality standards.

You will set up, calibrate, and test components, trouble-shoot issues, and document activities in the CMMS; collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, and Operations teams to safely achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, work instructions and troubleshooting guides.

Job Description

The Industrial Mechanic Technician assembles machinery to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability. In this role, you'll ensure the reliability and performance of automated and semi-automated machinery in a continuous production environment, while upholding Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. This role collaborates with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements.

A Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (three 12-hour shifts), plus Wednesday, 7:00 AM-1:00 PM; Candidates must be available to work all scheduled hours, as well as overtime and holidays.

The hourly range for this role is $32 - $36 per hour

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance Team located in Timonium, MD and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to ensure optimal machine performance. (Includes mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.)

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
• The ability to work and communicate in a collaborative team environment.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently and stand at machines for entire shift including reaching, bending, squatting and kneeling.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Hazardous waste handling and electrical work.
• Injection molding and melt-blown processes.
