Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a range of manufacturing equipment, including CNC and numerically controlled machines.

You will join a hands-on team that values safety and reliability. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, parts procurement, and validating repairs, with collaboration across Engineering and maintenance staff to minimize downtime and support

Qualifications

• Five+ years experience in manufacturing equipment repair.
• Full working knowledge in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machines.
• Experience with electronic maintenance work order systems preferred.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to weld, fabricate, repair, and install equipment.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot numerically controlled machines with Engineering team.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical).
• Diagnose machine malfunctions, disassemble and estimate repair scope and labor time.
• Perform preventive maintenance: inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, filters, lubrication.
• Monitor safety standards and complete scheduled inspections for all machines.
• Assist with installation of capital equipment and electrical wiring systems.
• Perform painting, sheet metal work, and welding as needed.

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various types of industrial equipment, including CNC and numerically controlled machines. Your expertise will help reduce downtime, improve productivity, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

• Work with Engineering team to troubleshoot numerically controlled machines.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, processes, and systems on all types of machine equipment, which include mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions, disassemble and determine extent of repairs necessary, estimate labor time, purchase or make repair parts, and conduct, test, and release repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance operations including inspecting drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, worn parts, and clean and lubricate machinery.
• Monitor safety standards and complete scheduled inspections for all machines.
• Maintain and repair the facility, which may include utility, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and masonry.
• Assist with installation of capital equipment and electrical wiring systems in a safe, timely, and competent manner.
• Perform painting, sheet metal work, welding as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Five or more years experience in manufacturing equipment repair are required.
• Full working knowledge in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machines, is required.
• Experience with Electronical maintenance work order system, preferred.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
