Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Ivyland, PA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to keep our manufacturing equipment running efficiently.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, repair and install new equipment, and collaborate with a team to meet safety, quality and production targets.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance; willingness to OT and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in a maintenance role in industrial or manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly and monthly equipment inspections
• Perform general cleaning of all areas of the building
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to job orders
• Remove trash, cardboard, and other recycling daily
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Aid maintenance technicians in electrical, lighting, mechanical, plumbing, and machinery repairs
• Install and troubleshoot primary facility electrical up to 440V lighting, mechanical, and plumbing
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily and monthly targets
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures
• Assist in installing new machinery and production lines
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure proper setup
