Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a direct-hire role in Eden Prairie, MN. The position focuses on maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, reading schematics, and supporting continuous improvement on an onsite basis. Shift availability includes 1st and 3rd. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of production machinery.
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to repair and maintain industrial equipment and components.
• Electrical maintenance experience, including wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and working with 3-phase power and 480V systems.
• Proficiency with pneumatics and hydraulics, including troubleshooting and repairing related systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial machines and facility systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and PLC control to support automated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Experience working with motors, including 3-phase motors, and related control systems.
• Experience in industrial welding and basic fabrication for equipment repair and modification.

Responsibilities

• Repair production machinery across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce failures and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Assist installation, setup, testing, and startup of new/relocated machines.
• Perform basic facility maintenance and upkeep.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Contribute to process and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and documents for repairs.
• Support conveyor systems, motors, and related components.
