Job summary

ALPLA Group's Sherman Plant is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on extrusion blow molding, stretch blow molding, injection molding and packaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

You will troubleshoot problems, read blueprints, and collaborate with the facilities team to maintain a safe, organized production environment; high school diploma and technical training preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic-skilled maintenance capabilities to perform essential duties.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics for equipment systems.
• Experience with programmable controllers and industrial controls.
• Understand and apply occupational math for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on proprietary ALPLA equipment (extrusion blowing, stretch blowing, injection molding, packaging systems).
• Conduct predictive maintenance using condition monitoring and diagnostics to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair molding machines and related equipment promptly to minimize production interruptions.
• Support facility maintenance tasks and maintain a safe, organized production environment.
