Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic issues to identify root causes.
• Replace or repair hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, and actuators.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems within industrial equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
• Install, upgrade, or replace electrical components and control systems.
• Regularly inspect industrial machinery to identify potential issues.
• Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Provide reports on equipment performance and reliability.

Location: Whitestown, Indiana

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Pay: $28-32/hr

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree in maintenance technology or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician focusing on hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and electrical systems.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Good communication skills and ability to prioritize work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements:

Employees must regularly stand, walk, handle objects, and use tools. Occasionally sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and twist. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly, with guidelines for heavier lifting. Vision abilities required include close, peripheral, and depth perception.
