Job summary

METTLER Packaging LLC seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in our manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and hands-on maintenance experience; preferred technical certification or associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in industrial maintenance required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety standards in industrial environments.
• Preferred: technical certification or associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
• Repair or replace motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during operations.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
