Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for heavy underground equipment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on loaders, haul trucks, bolters, and utility vehicles.

You will perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and service life, and ensure safe operation underground. Requirements include at least 2 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on underground mobile equipment including loaders (LHDs), haul trucks, bolters, and utility vehicles.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and service life.
• Repair and replace hoses, belts, fittings, filters, wear components, lighting, and other service items.
• Assist with basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical diagnosis.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is safe for underground operation.

Responsibilities:

Promote and assist in maintaining a positive work culture

Demonstrate strong leadership qualities

Perform troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on underground mobile equipment including loaders (LHDs), haul trucks, bolters, and utility vehicles.

Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and service life.

Repair and replace hoses, belts, fittings, filters, wear components, lightings, and other service items.

Assist with basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical diagnosis

Properly use hand tools, pneumatic tools, diagnostic tools, and shop equipment.

Complete pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is safe for underground operation.

Qualifications:
2 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience
