Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving. The technician must accept responsibility for their own safety and advocate for the safety of others, complying with PMC’s EHS policies and programs.

Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment including motors, drives, PLCs, and other machinery.
2. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks as needed.
3. Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
4. Follow safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
5. Document maintenance activities and report issues to management.

Qualifications

1. Electrical troubleshooting experience (motors, drives, PLCs, etc.).
2. Basic mechanical skills and knowledge.
3. Prior experience with plastic extrusion is a plus.
4. Ability to work on 3rd shift once fully trained.
