Summary

We’re searching for a critical thinker who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your solutions will ensure machinery is operational for smooth production. With over 2,000,000 square feet of factory floor, you will be presented with new challenges daily that test your maintenance troubleshooting, repair, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will work side-by-side with other technicians, management, and production to ensure our facility is producing the highest quality product possible. In doing so, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the entire facility
  • Operate a variety of standard maintenance tools including power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, and precision maintenance tools
  • Removing motors and other equipment components to prepare for repair
  • Minor repairs and alterations to the facility
  • Repairing electrical and electronic components
  • Keeping detailed, accurate records of machine maintenance information
  • Setting up and operating machinery and adjusting controls to regulate operations
  • Reading work orders and specifications
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
Knowledge and Skills

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:

  • Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices with the desire to continuously improve on such skills
  • 3-5 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities
  • An Associate’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a similar field is highly preferred
  • Familiarity and comfort with industrial controls, AC/DC drives, and PLCs
  • It’s a plus to have some experience in pipefitting and welding
  • The ability to stay organized and complete a project in a timely manner
  • Experience reading work orders and specifications
  • The flexibility to work unconventional shifts as well as weekly overtime (evenings and weekend required)
  • The love of working with your hands and on machinery

Education and Experience

An Associate’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a similar field is highly preferred

Physical Requirements

Occasional lifting up to 70lbs required
