Job summary

Valdese Weavers is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for general upkeep of plant property and equipment, including installation and repair of production machinery, piping, electrical and electronic controls.

You will perform preventive maintenance, weld and work with sheet metal, inspect lubrication, follow ISO 9001 work instructions, and contribute to safe operations in a fast paced textile plant in Northern Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading, writing and basic math in English.
• Experience in welding, pipefitting and air compressors.
• Good mechanical ability; capable of heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair production and building equipment, piping, and controls.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Weld and work with sheet metal as required.
• Maintain safety and report hazards to supervisor.
• Follow ISO 9001 work instructions and standards.
