Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a night-shift role in Nicholasville, KY. You will maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a manufacturing plant, with four 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities include conduit work, wire pulling, and high-voltage troubleshooting in a heavy industrial setting. Prior Journeyman experience and PLC exposure are advantageous.

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems within our manufacturing plant. This is a night shift position offering a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Run conduit and pull wire across the facility.
• Perform high voltage troubleshooting efficiently.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting throughout the manufacturing plant.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman or Journeyman level experience.
• Proven experience in running conduit and pulling wire.
• Expertise in high voltage (480V) troubleshooting.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to PLC maintenance.
• Experience with wiring, both high and low voltage.
• Familiarity with blueprint and schematic interpretation.
• Experience in both commercial and industrial environments is preferred, but residential experience may be considered.

Work Environment

Work in a hot and dusty industrial environment where the product can stick to the skin. Tasks will require the use of ladders and boom lifts. You will work across both industrial and office settings, developing products for the livestock, crop farming, and food industries. The role involves working four 12-hour night shifts, from Sunday night to Thursday morning, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NICHOLASVILLE, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
