Job summary

The Job Store Staffing is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician in Longmont to support injection molding operations and keep production running smoothly.

You will maintain molds and fixtures, perform minor repairs, and prepare equipment for production and sampling. Strong mechanical skills, organization, and English fluency are required, with additional forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Basic math, documentation, and English fluency required.
• Preferred: toolroom or machine shop experience; forklift cert.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and fixtures per schedule.
• Complete minor mold/tooling repairs and improvements.
• Prepare molds/fixtures for production and sampling runs.
• Maintain repair, maintenance, and usage records accurately.
• Review tool repair requests and organize mold storage and IDs.
• Communicate mold readiness with production scheduling teams.
• Support toolroom organization and continuous efficiency efforts.

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Longmont to find a Mold Maintenance Technician to support injection molding operations and help keep production running smoothly.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining the condition, readiness, and performance of molds and fixtures that are critical to manufacturing success. What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and fixtures according to schedule
• Complete minor mold and tooling repairs and improvements
• Prepare molds and fixtures for production and sampling runs
• Maintain accurate repair, maintenance, and usage records
• Review and respond to tool repair requests
• Organize mold storage, tagging, and identification systems
• Communicate mold readiness and status with production scheduling teams
• Support overall toolroom organization and continuous efficiency efforts

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and stay highly organized
• Basic computer skills and accurate documentation abilities
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 100 lbs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications

• Toolroom or machine shop experience
• Forklift certification or experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
