🔧 Now Hiring | Mold Technician – Salt Lake City, UT

We’re seeking a Mold Technician to support maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow their skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on plastic injection molds (in press & bench)
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex tooling
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure equipment functionality
• Read and interpret 2D/3D drawings and models
• Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)
• Complete shop documentation and maintain cleanliness standards
• Assist with machining, polishing, and minor repairs of mold components

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and shop math skills
• Knowledge of hand tools and measurement techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, or injection molding is a plus
• 1–2 years of tool making or maintenance experience preferred
