Job summary

Plastipak is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Kentucky to keep our high-demand production lines running. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain complex equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support efficient changeovers to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical skills, and a readiness to advance through certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on elevated platforms.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance and rebuilding spare parts.
• Participating in efficient changeovers to keep production humming.
• Completing advanced technical trainings to earn new certifications.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience:3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Technical Toolkit:A solid grasp ofhydraulics, pneumatics, and electricalsystems.
• Analytical Mind:The ability to read blueprints/schematics and solve problems on the fly.
• Physical Readiness:Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on aerial platforms (up to 20ft).
• Education:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
