Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our production lines in a fast-paced environment. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support TPM initiatives to ensure stable, high-quality output.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience on industrial machinery, strong hydraulics/pneumatics/electrical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on aerial platforms up to 20 ft.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Participate in efficient changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Complete advanced technical trainings to earn new certifications.
• Work within TPM programs to support a safe, reliable operation.
