Job summary

Plastipak in Kentucky is hiring an Associate to operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines, helping keep lines moving and ensuring product quality. As a new team member you’ll receive thorough, on-the-job training and mentorship from senior Techs and managers, with a predictable 12-hour shift schedule and every other weekend off.

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving smoothly.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure, as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and handle basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to ensure everything meets customer standards.
• Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Keep learning and growing with on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.

What You’ll Earn

This includes base pay + night shift premium + double pay on Sundays
