Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Tessenderlo Kerley is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations at their Fresno, CA facility. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role involves maintaining and repairing rotating equipment, managing spare parts inventory, conducting preventative maintenance, and keeping work areas organized.

Preferred Experience: Experience with plant maintenance, especially pump maintenance, tank agitators, product conveyors, and elevator maintenance, is desirable but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing plant maintenance procedures.
• Perform maintenance activities to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain equipment files, conduct preventative maintenance, and manage spare parts.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, including HAZWOPER, OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and DOT.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of maintenance experience.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge.
• Experience with pump maintenance, tank agitators, conveyors, and elevators is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills are preferred.
• Basic chemistry knowledge.
• Excellent communication and professionalism.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks.
• Medical clearance for respiratory equipment use.
