Principal Accountabilities
- Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial electrical work throughout the facility
- Documenting all completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary
- Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various electrical components and systems including low voltage automation systems, medium voltage motor control circuits, and high voltage systems
- Understanding mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals
- Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Repairing equipment in proximity to explosives
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to perform duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work at heights of 4 feet or more
- Willingness to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE, including heat, cold, dust, and noise
- Minimum of one year experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems (low, medium, or high voltage)
- Ability to work underground in a mining environment
- Current ATF certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Availability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or other CMMS
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) or willingness to obtain certification
- Technical diploma in heavy equipment/industrial maintenance or equivalent experience
- Predictive Maintenance and/or Precision Maintenance Certifications
- Experience with high voltage systems
- High school diploma/GED or two years of relevant work experience
