Job summary

Helion Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a high-volume aluminum manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, and perform preventive maintenance on production lines.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings and schematics, maintaining extrusion presses, and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime while adhering to safety procedures and keeping the work area organized.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain and repair aluminum extrusion presses and supporting equipment.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, valves, and components.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Complete PMs and document maintenance work.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
