Job summary

Helion Group is seeking a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently in Boise, Idaho. The role focuses on mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will replace bearings, repair pumps and gearboxes, and interpret HMI screens to diagnose faults. The ideal candidate can read electrical schematics, follow LOTO safety practices, work independently, and perform tasks with care

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read an HMI and identify machine faults.
• Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Replace bearings and grease equipment as needed.
• Take apart, repair, and rebuild pumps, valves, and gearboxes.
• Safely work with 480V electrical systems.
• Replace contactors, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Read HMI screens to identify machine faults and alarms.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems to get equipment running again.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment working properly and prevent breakdowns.
