Job summary

ImageFIRST is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across our facilities in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role supports preventative maintenance programs, quality control, and safety compliance in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic skills, with PLC programming experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is preferred.
• Plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, welding or piping experience is a plus.
• Basic reading of blueprints and schematics required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of industrial machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Write, maintain and follow SOPs and JSAs.
• Program PLCs.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Communicate with Production Associates and Management.
• Maintain and secure work tools.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Provide training as requested.
• Order tools and machinery inventory parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
