Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems running safely and efficiently within our waste processing facility.

You will diagnose malfunctions, repair production machinery, and maintain documentation in our CMMS. The role requires a high school diploma, 2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work a rotating shift in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong preventive maintenance experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Proficient in maintenance documentation and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to minimize downtime.
• Use root-cause analysis to troubleshoot equipment faults.
• Prioritize and execute maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
• Open/close work orders and manage spare parts in the CMMS.
• Inspect machinery to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Review maintenance reports to adjust plans as needed.
• Document and report maintenance activities and outcomes.
