Job description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabricating skills, excellent mechanical aptitude, and experience working with heavy equipment and machinery. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial machinery, including conveyors and other heavy equipment. The candidate must be proficient in operating forklifts and scissor lifts and capable of performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot heavy machinery and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all machinery to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Work on conveyors and other related industrial equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
• Strong mechanical skills with a background in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
